I must say Nylon, because it was the first magazine that fused my love for street fashion and indie music. I bought my first copy at a Target with my mom after seeing The Kills on the cover for their "All about London" issue. It really got me excited reading about the neighborhoods with trendy boutiques and under the radar bands that I was surprised I haven't heard of yet. It was also inspiring to know that one day I could have the opportunity to fly to England and have a reason. I can visit Spitalfield Market, shop a lttle a Topshop and use that first issue of mine as a guide!

My favorite fashion/art magazine is Elle - I love looking at the pictures even though I would never wear the clothes. It's definitely a coffee-table magazine

I must say, ELLE. As a lil girl, we got a subscription to our house, although no one ordered it? So everymonth I looked forward to it, and dreamed of seeing a brown face in it one day! Especially in the Ralph Lauren and Guess ads., since they always used native turquise and silver jewelery I could identify with.
