  1. I grew up in asheville, nc and now live about 3 hrs away so my ideal day trip would be back to the mountains, especially this time of the year as the leaves change and transforms the mountains so majestically.

The answer to your question is easy ! For a day trip, i'd go to Disney World ! I think it's very romantic to be childish sometimes, and you can never get bored at a place like that !

I'm really lucky since I live in Niagara Falls Canada. I really don't have to go far for a day trip since there are many beautiful areas close by. My favorite is a walk/window shop/lunch day in Niagara-On-the-Lake.

  8. I live in Victoria, Australia, and my favourite day trips are always driving to the coast. The best ones are when there's a picnic, and family and friends will come along, and everyone will swim and laugh and talk and then it will get dark and we'll stick around anyway.

I'd like to go on a day trip like that again, next summer!

  36. My ideal day trip is to go to Wilmington, NC. I'm definitely a city girl, but this town is so cute and homey- I love it so. And, it's a darn easy day trip as 1) they have their own airport so I can direct fly from NYC and 2) the airport is so small you can actually park at the curb, go inside, help your visitor (me) get her luggage, and come right back out to load your car. First class. And, my dear, dear friend lives there, I can shop at Edge of Urge, there's bomb ice cream by the river, and the beach is right there, too. You all want to go now too, right? :)

  67. We live a few miles from The Weeki Wachee State Park, Weeki Wachee, FL. The paths through the park are wonderful subtropical forest. I just saw a grey Macaw African parrot around there. Someone must have lost their pet. The African grey parrot is originally from Africa, however they have spread throughout the world due to people wanting them as pets, it is also know as one of the most intelligent birds due to its abilities to recognize objects, color and its ability to learn words and phrases.
